I’m a photographer and cinematographer based in Copenhagen. When I was only seven years old civil war broke out in former Yugoslavia, forcing me and my family to leave our homeland of Bosnia and seek refuge in Denmark. We lived in refugee camps for almost four years before finally settling into our own home. During those years in the camps watching movies, reading comics and playing video games became lifelines for me, important escapes from a continually tense and chaotic reality. Those fictional worlds were my earliest inspiration and eventually led me to my passion.

In 2017, I decided to leave my career as an engineer to pursue photography. I studied at Fatamorgana, The Danish School of Art Photography and have been a freelance photographer ever since. My work focuses on shooting commercials, events, portraits and narrative films, alongside ongoing personal projects.

I’m inspired by people and their stories. I’m drawn to aesthetics, thoughtful composition, light, and texture – but emotion remains at the core of everything I create. If an image evokes something in me, I believe it will resonate with others as well. I prefer to observe and capture moments as they naturally unfold, creating images that are equally authentic and meaningful.
